After receiving positive feedback for her feisty performance in last week's release Lamhaa, Bipasha Basu flew to her hometown Kolkata. Besides spending time with her family, the gorgeous babe also had some endorsement commitments to honour.
Bips launched Mahua Bangla, a new channel in Kolkata and the campaign picture has her dressed in typical traditional Bengali attire. Says the Bong babe on Twitter, "In Kolkata to launch mahua bangla, a new channel! That's one of d campaign pix!"
Must say this is one actress who looks as gorgeous in traditional Indian wear as she does in her hot Western clothes.

Actually, according to reports, the director has just confirmed that two actresses have been finalized to be cast in the film, that is bong bombshell Bipasha Basu, and the hot southern beauty Sameera Reddy.Watch the two sizzling sirens create Euphoria on screen.
Sources however reveal that the sudden decision to include women too, had to be taken as the actors in the film, namely, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, had requested the director to do so. It is being said that without having any actresses around, the film would lose it’s glamour quotient.
With the inclusion of the hot bong babe, Bipasha, and the sexy hot Sameera Reddy, the glamour quotient is sure to heat up the cool movie halls.
The star cast includes a line of talented actors’ like- Ritiesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffery, Arshad Warsi, Ashish Chowdhury, apart from the above mentioned four stars.
So, get ready for some real Dhamaal, with such a big star cast creating the magic again after the first film by the same name, and almost the same star cast, except for a few new names added to the list.

Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu's sultry status has been reaffirmed.
The Bong actress has topped this year's Maxim Hot 100 list, beating last year's winner Deepika Padukone who stands at sixth position this time.
Bipasha credits her Bengali genes for her hot looks and said such things can't be created and come naturally. The 'hot' word has stuck with her, but she feels good about it.
On second spot is Transformers star Megan Fox, while Katrina Kaif is third on the list. The top 10 list has Kareena Kapoor at 4th place,Priyanka Chopra standing at 5th place and Freida Pinto put at 7th position and Mallika Sherawat is at 10th.

The show is said to be desi or Indian version of America's Next Top Model. It is rumoured that the show will hit the small screen next month and King Khan wanted the sultry bong babe Bips to host the show since the American version had stunning supermodel Tyra Banks as its host.
The show's is apparently named ‘The Female Model Hunt' and the details have been worked out to the last minute. Rumours are that the judges for the show will be noteworthy personalities from the modeling world. Rest everything is a hush-hush.
SRK is really aiming high with this show since his last TV show didn't turn out as he expected.

The flamboyant Khan has made quite an impression on Bips. John, however, need not worryBipasha Basu was highly impressed by Fardeen Khan while working with him in Ajay Devgan’s home production ‘All The Best’. Though the movie has many stars, it was Fardeen who made the maximum impression on Bips.
Bipasha tells a tabloid: “Fardeen is a very philosophical person, very well-read, intelligent, well-behaved and chivalrous. I found him a most impressive talker.”
The two bonded well during the making of ‘All The Best’ in Goa and Hyderabad. In fact, when Fardeen came to know of Bipasha’s plan to learn belly dancing, he got excited and offered to sponsor her dancing classes. Bipasha, in return, promised to show Fardeen and Ajay her belly dancing moves once she learns it. However, she hasn’t even begun yet.
Shooting for ‘All The Best’ was a welcome change for Bipasha after playing a serious role in Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Lamhaa’, which has got stuck on the floors because of some ego tussle between Dholakia and producer Bunty Walia. A month-long shoot of ‘All The Best’ in Goa followed by a short schedule in Hyderabad has re-energized Bipasha.
Set against the backdrop of Kashmir, the Sanjay Dutt-Bipasha Basu film “Lamhaa” has faced trouble a bit too often.
The latest in its long list of problems is that director Rahul Dholakia has turned his back on the film and is not agreeing to allot dates for the shoot although the “busy” Bipasha has already given dates.
Dholakia has some personal work and he reasons that the scenes that have to be shot are very crucial and he has to be in the right state of mind to shoot them. He cannot just shoot randomly, he has said.
Due to this producer Bunty Walia and Dholakia are not on talking terms and it looks like the film may face difficulty and delay in completion.

The rumor mills of B-Town were spinning the news of an ongoing affair between the beautiful Katrina Kaif and John Abraham recently. This is especially interesting in light of the animosity between the sultry Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif.
Now John was recently asked in an interview if he would try and finish this hostility between his love Bips and ‘New York’ co-star Katz.
All John had to say was, “I am not here to play the role of a mediator. Bipasha is a grown up, mature woman. So is Katrina Kaif. They are both experienced enough to sort out their own issues. I was there to play the character assigned to me in the film and not to act as a mediator between Katrina and Bipasha.”
Even Katrina had similar views when asked if she would try and bridge the differences between beau Salman and John.
Katz and John are always found praising each others’ performance in their upcoming movie. They got along well during the shooting of the movie too.
But John has always tried and kept his professional and personal life as separate as possible from each other.
After making her play a child’s fantasy woman in ‘Pankh’, the movie’s director wants Bipasha Basu to play a prostitute in his next film on sex workers of Kolkata.
Director Sudipto Chattopadhyay’s controversial movie Pankh is yet to release and he has already begun working on his other project on the lives of prostitutes in the brothels of Sonagachi, Asia’s oldest and largest red-light area situated in the north of Kolkata. According to a source, the film is also titled ‘Sonagachi’.
The news is that after working with Bipasha in ‘Pankh’, Sudipto is highly impressed by the actress, and offered her the lead role in ‘Sonagachi’. Bips is likely to play a prostitute who looks after a child, a victim of pedophilia. She helps this kid lead a normal life.
Sudipto is not ready to disclose the actress’s name, but when talking to a tabloid he did say that a big star will essay the protagonist. He confirmed that the movie is about the lives of sex workers in Sonagachi, their trials and tribulations. He has even shot for some scenes in the area during Durga Puja celebrations and has roped in real-life prostitutes to play themselves in the flick.
Bipasha’s first film with Sudipto, ‘Pankh’, is about a 20-year-old boy, played by Maradona Rebello, who is confused about his sexual identity because as a child he was made to dress up as girl to act in films. Bipasha plays his fantasy woman.
Bipasha Basu has a carnal confession to make: The actor admits that for Indian men, a “voluptuous” woman has always been the ultimate sex symbol and she is in no mood to go against this age-old stereotype. After Hrs has learnt that Bips — who recently went through a rigorous and intense work-out regime to get an athletic body for a commercial — is working hard to get back her sexy curves.
Since Indian men prefer ‘voluptuous women’, Bipasha Basu is working towards bringing back her sexy curves after sporting an athletic body of late.
“Indian men have always preferred curvy, voluptuous women and that’s the way my fans have loved me too. I don’t believe in being thin and unattractive. I think losing your curves makes you undesirable and being thin was never in… I did weight training and kept myself away from all kinds of mithai for a month,” laughs Bipasha, who now plans to take up belly dancing lessons to keep fit rather than lifting weights.
The bong beauty says that she never feels the tag of being sexy weighing heavily on her shoulders. “People have always been referring to me as sexy from the time when I was 17. It’s something that I have grown up with. The tag of being sexy is actually a package of the kind of work you choose to do and the kind of person you are. I would say that sexy is like a personality trait that is inherent in you and not something that you can emulate. So you see, it is something that is naturally in me because being sexy is a part of my personality.”

But have you heard of swimming in floodlit pools? But Bipasha Basu is different. The actress and the female members of her staff — including her two dress designers and her hairdresser actually prefer to swim in the dark. In Goa, where they are currently shooting for All The Best, the dusky beauty waits till it is dark and then she and her entourage head towards the hotel’s swimming pool so that no one takes notice of them.
“If there are lights on around the pool, we switch those off too,” says Bipasha who doesn’t wish to be disturbed when she is swimming. This is one dark secret Bipasha has no problems sharing with the world.

It seems dusky beauty Bipasha Basu is also keen on joining the league of women who appreciate cricket. Bollywood hunk John Abraham and Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni are good friends but John's lady Biapsha is all praises for Dhoni.

Actor director Prem is juggling three projects, of which two are as director: Puneeth Rajkumar starrer Raj the Showman and Jogi's sequel Jogayya produced by his wife Rakshita and Adda, with which he returns to acting. The story of Adda has been written by him. The movie will be directed by one his associates.
Prem says Adda will be like an English movie and he is all set to get into the hero mould, six pack and all! Prem's rendevous with acting has not been very pleasant. Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe, his debut as actor, failed at the box office. The highlight of the film was Mallika Sherawat's item song. Prem is planning to continue the trend with Adda. It is Bipasha Basu this time. If the dusky Bong agrees, this will be her first Kannada film.
