Bips hates Bachchan Presence

Bipasha BasuBipasha Basu missed the showing of Shiamak Davar's collection launched by a sportswear company on Thursday night. What's particularly interesting about this bit of news is that Bipasha is the brand ambassador of said company.

A source present at the event says, "Shiamak and Reebok tied up to present his collection of the Bollywood workout program and the fashionable dance collection on Thursday night at a suburban hotel. Bipasha too was invited to the launch as she's the company's brand ambassador. But she didn't turn up even though she was in Mumbai."

The source further says, "Initially, Bipasha had committed to attend but something happened and she didn't turn up at the last moment leaving the organisers flustered. Fortunately, Shiamak saved the show with hiscrew putting a performance put up by specially challenged children.

Apparently, Bipasha was miffed that Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan had also been invited at her event and she wouldn't get solo coverage which she had Wanted to promote her film, Aa Dekhen Zara, that released yesterday. Shiamak had sent her T-Shirts with the sportswear logo and design a day before the event but she still didn't go."

Bipasha's spokesperson says, "This is not true at all. It was more a Shiamak event than a Reebok event. Bipasha would have loved to attend it because she's the company's brand ambassador and also because Shiamak is a friend.

She was an invitee and it wasn't imperative that she attend the event. Also the timings clashed with her prior commitment for her movie (Aa Dekhen Zara) promotions and a preview screening on the eve of the film's release. The timings were clashing for both events and hence she couldn't attend the same. The brand had invited her on Tuesday for the event on Thursday and they were informed at the same time about the timing stress."

Bipasha's engaged Jhon?

Bipasha BasuBipasha Basu has been sporting a huge diamond ring on her finger of late.

Also unlike the actresses who claim to have bought them on their own, Bips openly declared that it is John who gifted her one.

“It’s given by John but we are not engaged”, said Bips when we quizzed her about the gorgeous ring. Now diamonds are a girl’s best friend but definitely not more than the beau who gifts her one!

Way to go Johnny boy!

Bipasha Basu: No powder-puff girl!

If Kareena Kapoor became a trend-setter by becoming Bollywood’s first size zero babe, our Bipasha Basu has started a new trend of her own.

Bipasha Basu
The dusky bombshell is in the sans-make-up zone. Of late we have spotted the lovely girl without any make-up even at social dos. Amisha Patel, too, was on this ‘natural beauty’ spree for a long time. Apparently, she got more compliments when she didn’t wear any make-up vis-à-vis the days that she did. So she decided to get rid of the powder puff completely. And now it’s Bipasha’s turn to follow suit. Well, some girls can carry any look.

Bips wants to turn director

Bipasha BasuNine years only in Bollywood, and Bipasha Basu would like to think she understands the technical aspects of cinema well enough to direct a film.

Either that, or she doesn’t want all her experience to go to, er, waist by playing only the floor-burning sizzler forever. The bombshell admits she’s got direction on her mind, and it’s not for a too distant future.

“I’ve learned on the job. I now understand script, character, choreography, camera angles. So I guess I do see myself directing a film,” revealed Bips, adding confidently, “I know I’ll be fantastic with things from behind the camera.” The direction chaska began with her own interest and fascination in the way she looks! Styling has always been crucial for Bipasha. “Nowadays I take more interest in the way I look. I’ve become conscious of what suits me. I won’t do anything that I don’t follow or don’t feel comfortable in. Fortunately we have such capable choreographers. They know I’m not a professional dancer. So they give me movements that are fun and more me. I understand all that now,” she said.

Bipasha with her ex boyfriend

Bipasha BasuIt is not everyday that ex-lovers are Ready to share a picture for the shutter bags, especially if the shutter bags are of the top news channel and publications.

It did happen and after a very long time, we got to see the pair of Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu, who had rocked the silver screen with the blockbuster film, Raaz. Unfortunately Raaz-2 could not make much and poor Adhyayan and Kangana Ranaut suffered for it. Anyway that is not our point of view.

At the launch of Gold’s Gym at Pali Hill, Bandra we caught Dino and Bipasha and made them pose together for our cameras. It must be recalled that Bipasha was playing the love interest of Dino once upon a time.

Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea dated for more than two years before breaking up in mid-2002. They met when they were modeling and were one of the most talked about couples of Bollywood. Incidentally, Dino was on Bipasha’s side when she first made her debut with Ajnabee. After that, they paired up for one of the biggest hits of 2002 - Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz. They mutually agreed to break up, but have remained friends ever since. Their still so close friendship had raised eyebrows in the Industry.

As time passed by Dino went on to date designer Nandita Mahtani and Bipasha started dating John Abraham who made his debut in Jism with her. Currently Bipasha has still been sticking to John, although there were rumours about their breakup due to the famous Cristiano Ronaldo-Bipasha kiss. The couples still stand tall together. On the other hand Dino has moved on from Nandita to Lara Dutta.

If rumours are to be believed then Dino is keen to work with Bipasha and has also asked a couple of corporate houses to work on a subject around them.

We wonder what will happen to these young stars if they keep changing tracks so frequently. Anyway, it was nice to see Dino and Bipasha pose together after such a long time. Hope John and Lara are not watching

ADZ to release in singel Screen

Bipasha BasuThere is every chance of Bipasha Basu-starrer Aa Dekhen Zara becoming the first film to release in single screens even before the strike called by Bollywood producers and distributors officially starts on April 3.

The distributors of the film have not been able to settle the deal with the multiplexes over revenue-sharing of the film and are now contemplating to release the film in single screens.

Actors have joined the producer-distributor lobby on the issue with multiplexes. A producer-distributor body meet to be held at The Club in Andheri on Tuesday will also see the participation of actor-turned producers Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Even producers like Karan Johar and Yash Chopra will also be present.

The producer-distributors' forum has decided not to release films, alleging that multiplex owners are arm-twisting them and being unfair to them. They have demanded a 50% share of the revenue. Producer-distributors allege that multiplex owners change timings of the films without consulting them and often refuse to clear payments in time.

Sunil Lulla, producer-distributor of Aa Dekhen Zara said, "Multiplexes have not settled the deal on my film and they tried to blackmail us into doing a package deal of our future films Kambakht Ishq and Love Aaj Kal-to which we did not agree. If they don't settle the Aa Dekhen deal, we will go ahead and release it in single screens."

Bipasha Love Bollywood But Dislike kollywood

Bipasha BasuBollywood divas are known to act in South Indian Films and vice-versa, but hot babe Bipasha Basu denies working in South Indian films. Even though the damsel has earlier worked in Tamil and Telugu films but now she doesn’t want to anymore work in South Cinema.

Bipasha had earlier paired with Vijay has now refused to act with Vishal. The actress feels that the language problem is the main reason behind her denial. Bipasha faces difficulty to get the hook of South Indian languages. She instead wants to act in Hollywood but feels unfortunate of not getting any offer from there.

Well, all those Bipasha’s fans in South would be really upset to know about this. But we hope that she changes her mind in the coming future.

Bipasha will not Pair Vishal

Bipasha Basu
Bipasha Basu is laying emphasis on an area her fans would hardly care about: her pronunciation! The sex siren, who has earlier featured in a blink-and-miss role in Vijay’s ‘Sachin’, said she was not interested in doing both Tamil and Telugu films. Birdies in Kollywood have it that she was approached to play an important role in Vishal’s forthcoming film. When asked about it, the actress said she was diffident in acting in a language she was not familiar with. “It’s never an issue of who the hero is or how he looks when I agree to a script. The most important factor is if I understand the language that I’m expected to mouth. I don’t understand both Telugu and Tamil and so haven’t taken up offers from there,” says the actress.

Bipasha Basu short Interview

Bipasha BasuMUMBAI - One of Bollywood's most glamorous heroines, model-turned-actress Bipasha Basu made her debut in films with "Ajnabee" in 2001.

Since then, she has played myriad roles in Hindi films, establishing herself as one of the industry's most bankable actresses.

In between consoling her year-old niece and shooing away her dog, Basu spoke to Reuters about turning 30, her affinity for thrillers and how the recession has affected her.

Q: What is it about thrillers that make you click? There was "Race", "Dhoom" and now "Aa Dekhen Zara".

A: "I don't know about that (laughs). All I know is that thriller is a genre that everybody likes to watch. When you start watching, you have to follow it. There is an instant connect. Of course it has to be very smart, very modern, very edge-of-the-seat and very slickly shot. I guess the entire packaging has to be crisp and I would easily blend into a set-up like that.

"I started off with a thriller - "Ajnabee". "Raaz" was a thriller. I did "Jism" which was a romantic thriller, so I have pretty much been there for thrillers. But not that I don't enjoy comedy -- I have done "No Entry", I have done "Bachna Ae Haseeno" which is a romantic comedy, so I enjoy everything depending on the part, but I guess I get attracted to thrillers, because I like watching them."

Bipasha Basu gave up late night parties for John

Bipasha BasuBollywood-Gossips : When it comes to giving in to gangly hunk John Abraham’s outrageous demands, even the gutsy babe Bipasha Basu’s feminist principles take a back seat. The Bongshell, who is known to be a night bird as she loves to go party hopping, has decided to bid adieu to her wild night-outs as her beau doesn’t approve of her fun-seeking ways.

The couple that has stood the test of time for many years now is touted to be one of the most happening love-birds of B-town. But off screen, this ‘It’ couple is not as fashionable as it would seem.

According to Bips, the seemingly uber-cool John Abraham is a protective boyfriend, who is much too concerned of the company his lady keeps.

Speaking to a news daily, the spunky actress said, “I used to go to late night parties and clubs earlier but now I don`t have time for all that. In fact John Abraham didn`t like it. He used to accompany me every time I went to such parties. When you are on the floor, there are lots of people who just try to come close to dance with even if you don`t want. Quite often they misbehave. It`s a place where people drink and dance. So there are possibilities of such things which may annoy you.”

So, taking a way out the actress just decided to give her parties a miss. “If somebody came closer to me, John used to immediately come down on the floor and become a kind of protective wall for me. I enjoyed my parties for a while but later on I realised that John didn`t like it. So I stopped doing that. Since then it has been a long time that I went for any dance party”, added Bips.

Due to her hectic shooting schedules, even if she wants to attend a club, she can't do it because she doesn't have time for it.

Bipasha Basu A TomBoy

Bipasha BasuWith a star on the Bollywood Walk of Fame (we wish), kilos of awards and rewards on her mantelpiece, eight strong years of her relationship with John Abraham, she's been a mainstay on the 'most beautiful' lists for almost a decade now and a whole host of film projects ahead of her, life is good right now for Bipasha Basu. We also researched about the bong babe's 'thriller' fascination.

Right from her debut mystery film Ajnabee to the present Race and to her newest next Aa Dekhen Zara, Basu has a knack to turn the thrills into chills. So before we got to talk to her over a specially arranged interview, Bips decided to add some frills too - It took us fifteen text messages, a few phone calls and two days to get through to her. But what added the thrill to our conversation was that the dusky damsel apologised on making us a bit distressed, not that we wished her to do, but she sweetly did, making us feel mortified.

Our gets up close and personal with the exuberant, fervent and coherent actress Bipasha Basu where she unlocks the mystery about the high point in her career, her latest film Aa Dekhen Zara co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh, director Jehangir Surti, boyfriend John Abraham, her gruelling fitness regime, her best captured moment on the digi cam and why the Indian Film Industry desperately requires a casting director.

To be blessed with both good looks and talent is one thing and to be also blessed with a beautiful figure is another. What sort of gruelling work-outs has the bong bombshell tried and tested for Aa Dekhen Zara?
(Laughs) There isn't anything special. I've been following a very healthy way of living for the last five years. I got into working out right from No Entry. Everything takes time. You can't get fit in just two months. So I guess, with each passing year I've passed through different levels of fitness. Now I am in this phase where I am enjoying all sorts of activities. It could be weight training, cardio, yoga, etc. I try a bit of everything and mixing it up depending on the type of roles I play. For certain roles, you could be a bit curvaceous, sometimes you need to be a little more athletic and depending on that, I change my mode of training.

Ajnabee, Raaz, Jism, Dhoom 2, Omkara, Race and now Aa Dekhen Zara. What's this attraction to thrillers Bips?
Well, I have to thank Ajnabee. I never used to watch Hindi films while I was modelling, and because my first film was a thriller, it got me the much acclaimed fame, and there I was in the world of acting. I somewhat have this special love for thrillers and I love watching them. It's great to be a part of so many thrillers I've worked in.

Do you think the mousey-girl-next-door type roles are passe, out, I mean?
Mousey is a little difficult for me to play anyway (laughs). If I did play, I could be a very strange mousey girl. I can't be little because I am tall (laughs). Jokes apart, a girl-next-door role is definitely not passe. It has been an essential crux of quintessential Bollywood for years, and yes, there is a scope for such roles still but being stylist and glamorous has surely taken over, and that in turn is because the actresses are too glamorous now-a-days.

This is going to be Neil Nitin Mukesh's first theatrical release in the U.K and with you adding the thrills and chills, it just adds on to it. Are you more anxious like him?
I am never really anxious about any of my films because I enjoy doing them and I just leave it. Then it's the audiences call. I would want them to like the film but sometimes things don't go your way. Even if they don't like my film, I don't get disappointed and I move on. So anxiousness I don't have. I am happy because it is yet another film which is different and fun and I enjoy it even more when I work with new talents like Neil. I am getting to work with so many kinds of heroes and he is definitely a new kind. It was interesting.

So how are the singing abilities of this 'new kind' hero Neil?
(Laughs) Very good, and better than mine for sure. Neil tried his level best for me to sing too but I told him that no one is going to listen to my songs if I sing. So let's just spare our film with my voice for singing. I have no aptitude for it. But people have really liked the fresh take on Aa Dekhen Zara.
ADZ - The Rising, the band was launched for the film. It takes us back to the band which Pritam launched for Anurag Basu's film Life In A Metro. Don't you think these bands should not be restricted to one film alone?
Absolutely right. But they are getting a great platform to showcase their talent by providing music to the film and at the same time, we did the big launch to promote the band. The band is tremendously talented and to hear them live was like something else. I think a band with the film's music together is a great association for each of them. You cannot just tie them down to one film. Their work should grow, not stop.

Any research went into playing a DJ?
I have no idea about DJ's except the fact that they play great music and entertain a lot of people. The DJ part is the back story of the film and it's just one song 'Rock The Party' where we show a little bit of DJ-ing. When you give a profession to a character and a back story, it helps in a way to perceive the character and how he or she would look like or how they would behave. My role is of an independent girl living in Kolkata who aspires to be a singer and she is into music all day. She is a tom boy sorts, she speaks very firmly, she has got a great sense of humour, and she has an indigo coloured hair, a tattoo, wears funky pants and cargos throughout. It helps to style the character differently.

What's the best moment you've captured on your digi cam so far?
It was 30th of July 2008 when my niece, Nia, was born. I was in the gymnasium when my mother called informing me that the baby was delivered. I rushed back and there she was. A picture perfect moment.

Has there been a high point so far that you look back at and think that where your career has changed direction?
Honestly, I've never really thought so much, neither have I planned right from day one where my career will lead me to. For a person who didn't want to be an actor, then, getting into it full time as a profession, liking the work I do, everything has been different you know. At various points of time, my first film Ajnabee, then Raaz, then people telling me don't do a Jism and still doing it, going into No Entry to do a full on commercial masala entertainer, then Corporate, Dhoom 2, Race, Bachna Ae Haseeno, I think the high points have been many and I've enjoyed every bit of it. No matter what I do, even the smallest of the roles have got me some kind of appreciation, and I thank my audiences for that.

Brief us through the debutant director, Jehangir Surti.
(Laughs) He is a very shy, sweet and a timid kind of a guy making this thriller. We always had to shake him up and say, "Jehangir you have to start cracking the whip and sometimes scream and shout on the sets". So I did a little bit of Jehangir's work for the first two weeks (laughs). I was the one cracking the whip because I was the only seasoned person on the set and everyone else was relatively a new comer. They were all really scared of me and that got them into a little bit of discipline. I had to act off screen too.

They say that if the casting of the film is right, you've won half your battle. Casting directors don't exist in Bollywood. Do you think they should?
You're right. We still don't have casting directors in Bollywood. I wish we had casting directors and our business was well organised and functioning that way. But, the kind of stories we make, don't require a casting director. We make fun fantasies and sell them all the time and these are the kind of films accepted widely as Bollywood films. Definitely, we are having a change and are making different films but the numbers are very few. A casting director is a must for our movies now because we are experimenting so much with our stories. It's time for a change.

Is it getting easier to juggle being an A list actor who is still single?
I will be single till I get married (laughs) but at the same time I've been in a relationship with John since eight years. It feels like me and John, have been a couple for eight years, all going pretty and strong. I'm loving, every bit of our relationship which we are juggling since almost a decade now.

Due to her hectic shooting schedules, even if she wants to attend a club, she can't do it because she doesn't have time for it.

Bipasha Basu is Funky

Bipasha BasuBipasha’s new DJ look is getting popular by the day... and why not, it’s so unique and hip and enhances her ‘hot’ image even further.

However Bips is happy with the kind of response she is getting for her DJ look. Bipasha Basu plays a DJ in Aa Dekhen Zara and thus had to go through this makeover. Apparently, Bipasha who normally loves to experiment with her look was apprehensive about it as earlier Priyanka Chopra was criticized for her different look in Lovestory 2050. But director Jehangir Surthi suggested her to go try the new look and see.

Interestingly, when her stylist Rakhi Parikh and hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani gave her this funky look, she immediately agreed to go with it. Bipasha also sports black nail enamel all through the film. Her colored hair and a cool tattoo on her chest gives this bong babe a complete hip look. No wonder Bips is so much popular with youngsters.

And for those who find Bipasha drool worthy, she will also be flaunting her cleavage and sexy legs getting into some sexy outfits...

Bipasha basu Talks About Breaking Rules

Bipasha BasuShe is Bollywood's favourite siren and an actress who has always shied away from speaking her mind. Bipasha Basu looks back at her career in the movies so far and talks about breaking the rules and emerging successful.

Rajeev Masand: You recently turned 30 and you have been fairly frank about it. Do you feel wiser?

Bipasha Basu: I see no change. I think too much discussion has gone into it. It is just a number. Yes, with each passing year you do get wiser and it has been happening to me too. I started off at the age of 17 so since then I have become wiser for sure. But not because of the 30th figure.

Rajeev Masand: You have been in this business for almost nine years, what is the worst piece of career advice that someone has given you?

Bipasha Basu: There were many when I started acting. But generally I was guided by my then manager and hair stylist. I had advices like "Bipasha, you cannot be swimming in the unit hotel."

Some said, "I should not take pictures with spot boys."

I was quite innocent and not conscious of anything in my life. Then things that followed were like "You cannot talk about your boyfriend." But I never took any of them seriously. And that is why I was different. People called me bohemian but I am in reality a very disciplined and rule-abiding kind of person.

There was nothing embarrassing about my life so why should I lie?

Rajeev Masand: So the lesson there that one should be yourself and people will embrace you.

Bipasha Basu: Absolutely. I was an unconventional heroine. I was referred to as the dark and sexy girl. Being sexy was a taboo those days.

Rajeev Masand: Your new film Aa Dekhen Zara is about the protagonist who discovers a camera with which he can take pictures that reveal the future. Hypothetically, if you had this opportunity to take a look at your future, what would you really want to find out?

Bipasha Basu: I would like to know the outcome of my house because I have been renovating it for the past one year. I would really like to see how it finally shapes up. But since this answer is boring I will say something better. If given a chance I would like to know where I would be five years from now.

Aa dekhe Zara Synopsis-science Fiction

Bipasha BasuOne often wonders what the future has in store for us and shrugs it off quickly, but Bollywood doesn't seem content doing that. The film industry has quite happily grabbed the idea of getting into a time machine in as many as four forthcoming movies.

The films that are ready for release and bear a common theme of venturing ahead or back in time are Aa Dekhen Zara, 13B, Kal Kissne Dekha and Tasveer 8X10. While gazing at the future is a favourite topic, even the supernatural element around a non-living object in another time holds prominence in a couple of films.

In Aa Dekhen Zara, which stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu, director Jehangir Surti focuses on a camera that has the ability to look into the future and warn about what's going to happen next.

Says Neil: "My character of Ray Acharya stumbles upon a camera that can show the future. No, it isn't like looking 50 years ahead but still there is a slight futuristic element involved. The narrative is as interesting as that of 'Mr. India' where there were gadgets and the invisibility element."

The film, which has Neil crooning a number, is set for a March 22 release.

Kal Kissne Dekha also talks about the power of seeing the future, though this time it's the lead protagonist himself and not a gadget that does the trick. The film by Vashu Bhagnani will be the debut vehicle of his son Jaccky.

"Nihal Singh (the protagonist) is a gifted boy. He realises after a point that he gets true premonitions. He isn't sure about it to begin with but later settles down to this gift," says Jackky.

Of course there is a lot more to the storyline, but that's all the budding actor can reveal right now.

With a camera gadget and a unique gift of god being the central theme of two films, one wonders whether a conventional hero will get any limelight at all?

"Exactly the point," quips R. Madhavan. "My 13B doesn't have any conventional male lead in fact. Instead, I would say the TV is the main lead."

In 13B, a TV creates havoc in the life of Madhavan by showing on screen real events that are going to happen to his family.

"It's this TV set that ends up guiding our lives. In a way, it tells the real state of today's families that have become so dependent on TV that they end up seeing only what it wants you to see," Madhavan explains.

The thriller that releases Friday also stars Neetu Chandra and Poonam Dhillon.

The biggest of them all though is Akshay Kumar-starrer Tasveer 8X10 where it's a photo frame that is key to the film's narrative. This time around it's a journey into the past.

"In the film, Akshay plays a character who is gifted with a special sense where he can go inside the 8X10 photograph and enter the past. His soul is busy re-discovering the past. He always has a secret related to someone's life. After witnessing how his father was murdered in this 8X10 photograph, he sets out to take revenge," reveals a source close to the film.

The 'future' of these innovative ideas in the box office remains to be seen.

Bipasha Basu-More sexy than Neil

Bipasha Basu
Neil Nitin Mukesh was noticed and how with his movie debut in Johnny Gaddar two years ago, even though the film did not do well.
But he was clearly not in a hurry to sign more films. It's only now that we're getting to see his next film, Aa Dekhe Zara, with Bipasha Basu. He spoke to Syed Firdaus Ashraf about where he's been, and what we should expect from his new release.
Where did you disappear after Johnny Gadar?

I've been answering this question very often. I've spent last year shooting. I have four movies coming up this year -- Aa Dekhen Zara, New York, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny and Jail. Filmmaking is a tedious and time-consuming process.

Bipasha Inspired By younger sis

Bipasha BasuBipasha Basu ’s hip and trendy look in the upcoming movie Aa Dekhen Zara is inspired from someone very close to he actress.
That someone is Bipasha’s young sister Vijeta who loves rock music and dresses up like a rockstar.Since the film has Bipasha playing a saucy DJ who aspires to be a singer, Bipasha felt that modeling her look on her sister’s look and style would make sense. Like Vijeta, Bipasha too polished her nails black and wore colourful bangles on her wrists and put on a lot of fashion accessories. Bips also sported an erasable tattoo on her chest.

Bipasha gave the required inputs to her stylist Rakhi Parikh and hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani as the two ladies worked on the actress’ look for the film.
What shaped out was a character that has coloured hair, wears bright and trendy clothes, sports funky accessories and carries big bags.
Bipasha’s hair particularly came out well – with one side brown and the other indigo.
The movie, a thriller directed by Jehangir Surti, has Bips pairing with Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Bipasha Says script is AA Dekhen zara's main hero

Bipasha BasuJehangir Surti's AA DEKHEN ZARA has been in the news more for its soundtrack, where Neil Nitin Mukesh (grand son of legendary singer, late Mukesh) showcases his singing talent in the title track, carrying forward the name of his illustrious family. However, there is more to this romantic-thriller than just song and dance.

All those who thought that Neil Nitin Mukesh is the hero of the film will be in for a surprise after reading the above headlines - ''Camera is the hero of the film.'' And this statement comes from none other than the heroine of the film, Bipasha Basu. Yes, it's Bips who says that it's the camera that is the hero of the film.

CHECK OUT: Neil & Bipasha forms ADZ - RISING band

The reason? Well, it's simple. According to Bips, the whole film revolves around a camera. And so, naturally, it's the camera that is the centre of attention, and thus the hero of the film! But this does not mean that Neil is not playing an important role. In fact, both Neil and Bips share a wonderful chemistry and their characters are interwoven into the plot, which is very interesting and it's the edge-of-the-seat thrill that will keep the audience glued to the proceedings. Bipasha herself plays the role of a DJ, and is very happy with the experience.

The EROS Entertainment film is all set to release on Marrch 27th and let's wait and see whether this movie will tide over the lean board exam phase and give EROS International their much needed hit!

Aa dekhen zaraNo folks we are not talking about the duo changing their profession and taking to crooning, instead we are referring to their upcoming film Aa Dekhen Zara.

The promotion of the film Aa Dekhen Zara is being done in a rather unique method, namely with a band, ADZ-The Rising. Viky Rajani, the producer of the film in conjunction with Gaurav Dasgupta, has created a band to promote the film. The band will perform in various cities across the country as part of the film's promotion. And Neil will accompany the band during various club performances.

The band comprises of Divendu Mukherjee - vocalist and drummer, keyboard - Roshan, female vocals - Shweta Vijay (Miss India earth 2003) and Guitarist - Mizo. Launching the newly founded band was the cast of the film, Neil Mukesh and Bipasha Basu recently at Enigma, in the Marriot Hotel. What's more? Neil accompanied the band on stage and actually took a shot at crooning a few lines as he has sung the title track for the film Aa Dekhen Zara.
