Bipasha Basu & Dhoni shoot for Reebok ad in Hong Kong

Even though her New Year Eve by Sahara Star got cancelled, Bipasha Basu was not sitting and sulking about it. Instead the actress flew to Hong Kong to shoot for the Reebok commercial with Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Dhoni too made the most of his spare time after the series win against England. He shot for the sports goods Reebok while Bipasha shot for the clothes and accessories of the same brand.

While both have shot for their ad campaigns for the product individually, this is the first time the two will be featured together. The ad campaign is expected to hit TV screens by the end of the month.

No equation between Katrina and Bipasha

Looks like, Bollywood’s sexy siren Bipasha Basu is not quite pleased with the idea of having girl pals in B-town and ends up bruising her relations with most of them. Although, it was heard that Lara and Bipasha were best buddies once upon a time. Well, whatever happened to that!

The catfight with Kareena on sets of Bipasha’s debut flick, ‘Ajnabee’ was the favourite tea-time gossip. And, the latest contender for Bips’ ‘enemy’ tiara is none other than her beau, John Abraham’s new found ‘good friend’ Katrina Kaif!

The two actresses don`t get along too well, but we were certainly expecting things to ice down with John singing all praises for his ‘New York’ co-star Katrina. Whatever happens, Bips apparently has no plans of putting an end to the ‘Kat’-fight anytime soon.

In an interview to a tabloid Bipasha said, "I don`t speak to Katrina because of the vibes we share. I get no vibe from her, so I am going to behave in the same fashion. I am not here to make friends. There is no catfight, we work together and it is professional but we don`t speak. I can`t dissect the reasons but I am like this. If you show me you are a friendly, fun co-star, I will behave in the same fashion. There is no equation between Katrina and me, there`s no animosity either. To each his own is what I say".

Well, not that all this really bothers Katrina, she has an endless list of ‘good friends’ in her kitty, just that it’s only men!

John is the hottest: Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu is quite pleased with John Abraham’s success in “Dostana” and says that the label of the ’sexiest’ Asian man for him pleases her even more.”There has to be one person who’s the sexiest every year. In 2007, Eastern Eye voted me the sexiest. In 2008, it’s John. If they didn’t vote him the sexiest they’d look really foolish. I mean John is the hottest. No one is going to look hotter than him for a long time. And I’m not saying that because I’m in a relationship with him,” Bipasha told IANS.

Asked how she felt about John flaunting his well-toned body in “Dostana”, Bipasha said: “Ranbir Kapoor showed his bum in ‘Saawariya’. How come no one raised any eyebrows? It was not so drastic with John.

“He has a fantastic body. If a woman on a beach is appreciated, why not a man on the beach? If you are comfortable with your body and you can carry it off with grace like John did, why not? I’m proud of what John has achieved. I’ve been with him from the time we shot ‘Aetbaar’ and ‘Jism’. We started dating while shooting for ‘Aetbaar’.”

Bipasha, who turned 30 Wednesday, said she was really proud of her bikini shot in “Dhoom 2″.

“At no point did I look cheesy. There was no heaving thrusting. It was just a healthy shot of a woman on the beach. Incidentally, I came out of the water in ‘Jism’ wearing a thick white dress. Such was the impact that people think I wore a bikini.”

Bipasha said she was pretty happy with her achievements last year.

“It’s been a fantastic year for me, both personally and professionally. Family is great. Boyfriend is great. Everything is fine. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

“I’m actually surprised the year went so well. I even got time to watch my niece and nephew grow. Yes, I’ve spent one more beautiful year productively.”

Told that she needs to have children of her own, Bipasha said: “No, no I don’t have the patience for kids. I can’t bear to have my seven-year-old nephew around for more than two hours. He’s a talkative brat.

“My one-year-old niece is an item number. She dances superbly to the worst songs. So, yes, another actress coming up in my family. And she’s the first light-eyed fair-skinned Basu girl in the family.”

The actress is currently shooting for Rahul Dholakia’s hard-hitting drama “Lamhaa”.

Bipasha Happy Birthday,We Love You.

Dark beauty and sultry actress Bipasha Basu turns 30 on the 7th of January. The actress will be celebrating her Birthday in a quite manner with boy friend John Abraham.

When Bipasha started her career with Ajnabee, no one thought that this dark beauty would last so long in the industry. Her fights with Kareena Kapoor in her very first film, and subsequent bad relations with other costars had resulted in bad PR for her, and all said that she is not fit for a Bollywood that is very diplomatic in its working.

Dhoni-Bipasha to set Hong Kong on fire!

Team India captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, may have been in the limelight for receiving threats to his life from extortionists/terrorists, but the fearless and charismatic captain is undeterred. The cricketer who ranks right up there with the topmost Bollywood stars, in terms of popularity, is at present the number one brand name (amongst cricketers) in the ad world and can be seen in various promos, right from selling chips to his passion, motorbikes. And we have news from a close family friend (from his home town Ranchi in Jharkhand) that Dhoni has left Ranchi for Bombay, and will shortly leave for Hong Kong to shoot an ad with the hot and sexy Bipasha Basu.

Dhoni plans to stay for around three to four days (from 3rd Jan to 6th Jan) in Hong Kong, where he will take part in the shooting, along with one of the sexiest actress of Bollywood, Bipasha. It will indeed be a great experience to watch the two set Hong Kong on fire. But his biking friend John Abraham need not worry as Dhoni will come back in Ranchi immediately after finishing the shoot because he wants to spend as much quality time as possible with his family and friends.
