Bachna Ae Haseeno Promo Coming Soon

One of the most highly anticipated films of this year is still a couple of months away but soon fans will get another sneak peak of Bachna Ae Haseeno. A new promo is scheduled to premiere with Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. BAH is directed by Siddharth Anand and boasts an all star cast including Ranbir Kappor, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba. Anand said, “I am looking forward to the audience's reaction once the first look of Bachna Ae Haseeno is unveiled. The film is a family entertainer." The fabulous Vishal and Shekar are composing the soundtrack for the film and Anand is very happy with the tracks: “By God's grace the songs have turned out excellent. They are beyond our expectations. Vishal-Shekhar did an excellent job in my first two films - Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum - and the bond continues with Bachna Ae Haseeno as well.” They are now shooting the promotional video for the title track and it is inspired by Ranbir’s father Rishi Kappor’s number ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno Lo Main Aa Gaya’ from Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahin. Though Anand points out, “It’s not a remix. The track takes off from the original song.” An interesting thing to note is that originally they wanted Ranbir to sing the track. Anand said, “We did try Ranbir’s voice for the track. He does have a nice voice, but we were in a hurry to wrap up and hence decided not to make the song too gimmicky by taking on Ranbir as the singer.” So the track went instead performed by Kishore Kumar’s son Sumeet, “Considering the fact that Kishoreda’s son has sung for Chintuji’s (Rishi) son, it will be quite a nostalgic trip,” he added. The soundtrack is scheduled to release at the end of June and then on August 15th, Bachna Ae Haseeno will hit theaters! The wait is almost over!

Younger men are cool: Bipasha

Going the Dimple Kapadia way is Bipasha Basu who is romancing all younger men in her next three films... and all debutants of 2007.


There’s Ranbir Kapoor in Siddharth Anand’s Bachna Ae Haseenon, Neil Nitin Mukesh in Jehangir Surtia’s Freeze and Maradonna Rebello in Sudipto Chattopdhya’s Paankh. In the past, Dimple romanced Akshaye Khanna in Dil Chahta Hai, Saif Ali Khan in Being Cyrus, and Amol Mhatre in Leela.

“So what if these actors are younger, is there an issue,” asked the Bengali actress testily. “My pairing with these younger men looks good. With Ranbir, I have great chemistry onscreen. Neil and I complement each other thanks to a fabulous script. They are cool and contemporary,” said Bips. In the third film, unfortunately, she’s only a diva who
lives in actor Maradonna’s fantasy.

‘Bipasha Basu is very excited’

Even after talking to him for an hour, you can’t get an insight into the man.

Amole Gupte, the writer and creative director of Taare Zameen Par, allows his mind to roam freely. A trained painter, writer and graphic artiste, Amole is reportedly going to act in a Vishal Bhardwaj film. Is that true? “May be,” is all he has to say. Nothing less, and nothing more.

Amole is known for the summer sessions for children. And, as much as the kids enjoy them, he enjoys them twice over. So, what are these sessions all about? What does this ‘mole frog’, as his kid friends call him, teach them? “Who? Me? Teach children? I learn from them. You look and listen keenly and you will know you have so much to learn from them,” says Amole. We put on our thinking caps and indulge in some guesswork on what he might be discussing with the kids. It is not difficult to gauge then that cinema and art must be the heart of these sessions. “Yes,” he confirms, “Art, fun and cinema feed these sessions. Audio visual art and theatre is all what happens here.”

It is Taare Zameen Par that catapulted Amole into the corridors of fame. And, he talks enthusiastically about it. But, before he says anything about the film, he clarifies, “TZP is not a Bollywood film. It is a reward of eight years of patience, of experiences and conversations with children by Deepa Bhatia, my wife, and me. We feel like we are the parents of the film. It is our baby.”
Amole is now working on two projects. But, he doesn’t want to give out the details so soon. “Through the film medium, I am trying to explore all factions of children. This time, I am trying to explore economic inequality,” he informs. Is there anything else he can share with us? “I will soon share the film,” he says jokingly.

And, the second film? “Well, it is about the severe passion for food,” he says. We try to probe further, and he tells us, “All I can say is that Bipasha Basu is very excited about this.” That is a probable hint that Bipasha would be seen in the film.

Coming back to TZP, does little Ishaan Awasthi’s role resemble Amole’s childhood? “Oh yes. Many episodes are exactly the way they happened to me. The absent note incident, a day out of school, being dazed, exploring the city, all that,” says Amole. And, what about getting into trouble with the folks bit? “Oh hell, yeah!” Amole laughs. “And, that’s the reason why it appealed to the audiences. It rings true because it comes alive on screen fuelled by real life.” If he treads a similar path, he will continue to experience success and fulfilment as always.

Bipasha Bonds With Ranbir And Neil

Bipasha Basu has bonded very well with her young co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Neil Nitin Muesh .

After a successful pairing with Saif Ali Khan in Race , Bipasha has paired with two newcomers of last year in her upcoming films. She has already shot with Ranbir Kapoor in Italy for Yashraj Films Bachna Ae Haseeno .

Bipasha says she bonded with the young Kapoor scion very well.

“Ranbir is a super-cute and we got along like house on fire,” the sultry actress is quoted as saying in a media report. Bips added that she had a ball working with Ranbir and Siddharth Anand (director) in Italy.

After the Italy schedule, Bipasha flew to Miami to be with her beau John Abraham for a few days before heading to Bangkok to shoot Freeze with Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Bipasha says bonding with Neil is special because he is also a Capricorn like her.

“As for Neil, we're both Capricorns, and like me, Neil is extremely organized,” Bipasha is quoted as saying.

In ‘Freeze’, Bipasha plays a DJ while Neil plays a photographer.

Bipasha said she has known two Capricornians – Uday Chopra and Hrithik Roshan – and she bonded with both of them.

Bipasha is expected back in Mumbai by mid June when John’s film Aashayein is set to premiere.

Bipasha Basu changes her designer

Fashion conscious Bipasha Basu has dropped her trusted designer Rocky S from her next movie project.

Bipasha’s look in director Jehangir Surti’s thriller Freeze would be designed by Rakhi Parekh, who is new to Bollywood but has worked as a stylist of Indian editions of magazines like Elle and Cosmopolitan. The actress chose Rakhi over Rocky not because she finds the latter less talented, but because she wants to break the monotony of having worked with Rocky many times. Rocky is a good friend of both Bipasha and her beau John Abraham .

However, Bipasha is not just sitting back and letting Rakhi do all the styling. The actress believes that a designer who hasn’t worked in films before has a tendency to go overboard in designing the clothes. So Bips is working with Rakhi, giving her own inputs as to how her clothes and look should be in ‘Freeze’.

The film, starring Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead role, is currently being shot in Bangkok.

Bipasha plays a glamourous deejay in the film. She says she has a clear idea about how she wants to look in the film.

Bipasha has such a deep-rooted interest in fashion that she is also planning to launch her own designer label in the years to come. Unlike other celebrities who either endorse a fashion brand or hire designers to design for their labels, Bipasha says she wants to be proactive in designing the clothes when she launches her label. However, that may not happen soon.

Ain't exactly a 'Dostana'

Abhishek and John share icy cold vibes on the sets of K Jo flick!

Another Bollywood yaari has failed to stand the tests of time. The buzz is that one time good pals John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan are no longer on talking terms. If sources are to be believed, the two weren‘t interacting at all on the sets of Karan Johar‘s ‘Dostana.‘

Now not too long ago there was a lot of talk about the two some having a gala time during the second half of the shoot of the movie!

But all these talks have turned to be more or less like an illusion now.....


Chances are John‘s toned body could be giving podgy Jr. B big time complexes. Now fit bodies are something which the guy just can‘t stand. After all, hot bods like Hrithik and John have taken the credit away from him time and again. And in spite of all the trying, the guy just can‘t match up!

The Bitch‘s source says, "While shooting for ‘Dostana‘ in Miami, John and Abhishek hardly interacted with each other. The only time they interacted with each other was while delivering dialogues. The unit members tried hard to make them gel well but all was in vain."

The Bitch has found out there are reasons behind these two behaving like a pair of adamant school boys. The trouble started once the two lads were joined by their respective women-Aishwarya and Bipasha who came to spend quality time with them!

Now Abhi and John shared the same school and their friendship flourished during their ‘Dhoom‘ days. But thanks to their women- now it ain‘t the same anymore. The Bitch is really sorry to say, but that‘s how most women are!


Actually Aishwarya was supposed to do a film called ‘Happy Birthday‘ with John but she kept it on hold because of her marriage. John wanted the project to start soon as he felt it would have given a serious boost to his career. But Ash kept on postponing it as she felt that it wasn‘t all that important!

Other than her ‘big, happy‘ family and her needs, nothing else is important for Bachchan bahurani! Moreover the lady hates to be upstaged and hasn‘t taken kindly to Bip‘s sexy tag.

To add fuel to the fire, both John and Bipasha weren‘t invited for the Abhi-Ash marriage.

John only came to know later that only selected people were invited. Not falling in the special category obviously bruised his ego.

Now if Ash acts pricey, can the overconfident catty Bong girl be far behind? Bipasha opted out of the Bachchan‘s ‘Unforgettable‘ tours after committing to it for over a year. She demanded an unreasonable amount which obviously didn‘t go down well with the mighty Bachchan‘s who gave her the perfect kick on her a**.

Bips is fuming like anything now. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, as the old adage goes.

In a scenario like this, the two boys only have the choice to play henpecked and obey all commands. Therefore as of now, their friendship is as good as dead!
